Hello everyone, today I will talk about the things I would like to change in the curriculum of my career, which is Architecture
I think one of the things that would change is the number of years we should study at university, for this very reason the classes should be more specific in terms of subject and area; and finish the degree with a specific deepening in some area of architecture.
In terms of infrastructure and physical space, in my opinion, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Chile, has shortcomings in terms of quality spaces to be able to fully develop in our studios, in this sense, I would like there to be study rooms, and work rooms with large tables and space to work on the models and plans. In addition, it would be very helpful if there were night rooms, where each student could stay working all night if necessary. There is a lack of computer rooms where the technology of the equipment is available to all students and not just a few.
I also think that the academic load (the workload) is too much, especially because we must learn a little of everything, and this in the end means that we do not manage to deepen from the beginning in our real interests within the area of Architecture.
Thank you very much for reading, have a beautiful weekend.
Best regards.
I never thought about the duration of the degree! now I don't want to study anymore haha lol
